About The Bay Kava Cafe

Located at 1307 SE 47th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33904, The Bay Kava Cafe operates as a coffee shop serving Cape Coral in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–2 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The Bay Kava Cafe at (239) 471-0580; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 67 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded coffee shops in Cape Coral.

Cape Coral is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cape Coral is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I'm fairly new to the Kava bar scene. I've only been to The Bay Kava Cafe a few times, but I think it's going to become a regular place for me because it's got great people, good drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. Some of the other kava bars I've been to feel like they're a little on the darker side in terms of atmosphere, but The Bay Kava Cafe comes across more bright and inviting to me. I really like their kratom drinks here (I don't add any sweetener or anything), and it was here that I first tried a kava based drink, which was delicious. Their cocokava was super delicious--smooth, lightly coconut flavored, and not super sweet or anything (don't know if they add sugar or not). One of the bartenders let me try a sample of this watermelon/coconut/mint kava drink they prepared, and it was amazing. Even though I've only been twice so far, the employees I've met--Devon, Drew, and Naz--seem like really good people. They are helpful (explaining about the drinks to me), attentive, conversational, and easygoing. I saw that they open at 8AM and offer coffee drinks as well, so I'm thinking I may start popping in here when I want some coffee and a nice place to read or do some work. If y

Honestly I HATE kava. Its grimey and certainly bitter. Although, here... its PHENOMENAL! They make special fruit kava. For example coco watermelon πŸ‰ this is my favorite. Made with real fruit! Simply delicious, hydrating and beneficial!! Taste just like the fruit! Come give it a try, you wont regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about The Bay Kava Cafe. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and full of positive energy. The staff genuinely care about creating a great experience and always take the time to answer questions, make recommendations, and make everyone feel at home. The drinks are consistently top-tier, made with quality ingredients, and there’s always something new and creative to try. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind, get some work done, meet new people, or just enjoy a great vibe, this place delivers every time. What really sets The Bay apart is the community. It’s more than just a cafeβ€”it feels like a second home. The environment is friendly, inclusive, and filled with great conversations and good people. You can tell a lot of passion has gone into building this place, and it shows in every detail. Hands down one of the best spots around. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re seriously missing out

Brand new kava lounge in the area. I didn't recognise it from the street since the official signage hasn't arrived yet, so it looks a bit barebones from the outside. The fridges are stocked full with Mitra9, White Rabbit, and... Yerba Madre. It is basically a teahouse, after all? Snacks and baked goods are also abundant. I've heard that the kava is produced in-house, and it is among the smoothest-drinking shells amongst the kava bars I've been to in southwest Florida. The botanical tea cocktails also are made with real fruit juices and many have a decent taste. However, I am often able to get cocktails 2-3 times as large as the cocktails here elsewhere for The Bay's asking price. The kava/botanical tea also doesn't do a great job hiding itself within the flavours of the various beverages. Overall, the actual drinks are just a bit above average in terms of flavour. However, what took this review from four stars (above average) to three would be the experience surrounding my second visit, where I was subjected to loud children, under the supervision of one of the owners of this business, for about an hour. The loudness wasn't typical screaming, it was banging upon crash as if the

Super chill place. Everyone is super welcoming, and informative. The kava is very smooth, and the honeybrew kratom is an interesting twist I've never seen before. Matcha, pastries, and coffee also. Nice vibes.
